Nabila Khashoggi is the author of the comic book series Spartan and the Green Egg. A mother of two, Nabila Khashoggi uses the series to introduce children to different cultures and environmental issue around the world.

Gone are the days when comic books were viewed as violent pulp reads for teenagers. Today, comic books and graphic novels are winning Pulitzers and being utilized as effective classroom tools. Chris Wilson’s animated take on the classic tale Beowulf is an example of comics being used to introduce children to important segments of literature.

Clan Apis, written and illustrated by neurobiologist Jay Hosler, presents students with an extensive look into the life cycle of bees, as well as a number of additional insects. The story also includes a number of literary allusions, including a beetle named Sisyphus. Finally, J. Torres and J. Bone collaborated to create the Alison Dare series, a group of adventure books that see the title character thrown into a number of exciting situations that are set against various historical and archaeological backdrops.

This cutting-edge solution provided users with speedy access to travel information at airports and hotels throughout Europe and North America. For the next three years, Nabila Khashoggi worked with her brother to establish Mara Intrepids Camp as a Kenyan tourist destination. She also devoted energy to developing and marketing properties in such major markets as London, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. Another one of her ventures during this period involved financing and marketing mobile hospital units and associated medical equipment. With ambitions beyond business, Nabila Khashoggi has pursued training as an actress, performing on stage, in film, and on television. She is a committed supporter of The Children for Peace (ONLUS), an Italian-based nonprofit organization benefitting children in third-world countries. She is the mother of two sons and actively encourages environmental responsibility and organic lifestyle habits.
